If you love snakes, then Florida is your place! There are a total of forty-four (44) species of snakes in the State of Florida and believe it or not only six (6) of Florida’s forty-four snake species are actually venomous.

- Cottonmouth (also known as water moccasins)
- Eastern diamondback rattlesnake
- Timber rattlesnake
- Dusky pygmy rattlesnake.
