This little guy is a black and white warbler. Similar to one we believe that flew into a window as he was found on the ground below one. He was brought to us, and we kept him overnight to see if he would come out of shock. When he came into our care, he couldn’t walk or put any weight on his legs. We gave him food, water, and a safe, dark place to rest. He still could not put weight on his legs or fly away the following day, so we contacted a bird rescue as we are not specialized in caring for native, wild birds. We were instructed to give him one more night to rest and if he hasn’t gotten any better by the next morning to bring him to the bird rescue. Unfortunately, He still had not improved so he was brought to the wildlife center the next day where he received the best possible care. Another life saved!
